looking for any advise or info you guys can give me .always thought of becoming a black cab driver and with me being laid off the other week i am considering it even more as a possibility for a new career. have been looking into (scotland) Glasgow (glasgow city council) bishopbriggs (east dunbartonshire council) and cumbernauld (north lanarkshire council) areas ,with glasgow i will have to go to the collage to pass a test ,and with bishopbriggs and cumbernauld i have been told all i have to do is apply for my licence. what i would like to know off any of you guys is is there any 1 who taxi in these areas who would could give me info on these areas what sort of money would i be able to make ? how much it would be to rent the cab? and also what the going rate to buy a plate is in these areas are? any info would be very much appreciated cheers.
