Hi Everyone.

I am interested in becoming a private hire taxi driver but was just wondering whether you think it is worth it at my age. Are there any guys/girls around my age (23) driving taxi's? If so how much is your insurance and who did you go with? I have 3 years NCD.

hi yes, i am 24, was 23 when i started. i started on a R reg mondeo private hire and insurance was 2800. i then moved to a 50/50 hackney deal never got told how much it was on there, but just bought my own cab which is a 98 London Taxi, im 24 now and my quote on that with 1 ncd fully comp is 1800. hope thats a general idea. and yes at your age go for it, i had alot of ppl doubting me at my age but im the only one out of all my m8s who has a subaru impreza
