They called me on the phone today trying to sell this service and i asked them to send me dtails in a email.They sent me details and cost is

I woudn't go within a 1,000 miles of them. I joined in March for six months for £199.00. They guarantedd up to five fares a week with value up to £60.00 per fare. I had an initial flurry of requests for quotes which I suspect were from other cab companies on the site checking me out or from fictitious people, I tried ringing a few back to follow up the quotes but the phone numbers did not exist. Over the last ten days I have been trying to get my money back under their guarantee scheme whereby if they don't get you any jobs in six months they refund your money. They have not responded to any calls or emails so I don't expect to get a result

DON'T TOUCH THIS MOB WITH A BARGEPOLE! I got the same routine as brightonbreezy. Only difference was my subscription was £199.00 + vat. I also asked for something in print. I have tried the freephone number and two different e-mail addresses with no reply to any of them. Ther are also posting about this web-site on Canyoutrustthem.com. They are takinjg lots of people with this scam. Is there any-one we can go to to try and get their web-site shut down?

I just got an e-mail from Betterfares telling me they are going to sue me for slander!! CONTACT AT LAST!! it proves they are watching the forums on this site. I'll see what BBC WATCHDOG makes of this. Watch this space for updates.

THEY ASKED ME IN A EMAIL IF I COULD ADD THEM AS A LINK ON MY SITES TO INCREASE MY PAGE RANK.YEAH RIGHT I JUST IGNORED THEM,
DOES ANY ONE GET FED UP OF COLD CALLING TELESALES PEOPLE CALLING THEM TRYING TO SELL ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT SHIT.

I paid Betterfares £250 plus Vat after being sold the idea on the phone. However after receiving the terms and conditions and speaking to them again I realised that it probably wasn't going to be any good for me being in a rural area. I contacted them immediately and told them I had changed my mind and wasn't signing the contract could they return my money. This was about 2 months ago, they never return my calls or reply to my emails. After checking their website the airport nearest to me doesn't even have a link so customers can't click on it anyway.
Has anyone taken legal advice?

Now of course any of you were in the GMB we'd hammer this lot but if not why not try Nick Sommerlad in the Daily Mirror they hammer cab industry scum sometimes at [email protected] or on 0207 293 3572 mention the GMB Professional Drivers Branch and then join the GMB?

They are just another bunch of scammers they called me up today on a witheld number and soon as they mentioned betterfares i told em i was not interested and they wouldnt get off the phone i had to hang up lol

They have phoned me today and on wednesday,
I got a friend of mine to do a company search for me, and they are not a registered company.
but this does not mean they cannot trade.The company is a scam and have caught out quite a few Taxi drivers up in Manchester.

I have had regular contact with Betterfares with someone called Vicky Whittaker. her telephone number is 0800 6250362. She is useless as she can't tell me when I will get my money back, she only passes on messages to Chris Mortimer the MD, but if we all phone her five times a day it will mess up their days.

Why dont you contact bbc watchdog about them they defio sound like a bunch of rogue traders who need to go on rogues gallery or something

everyone should contact the licensing enforcement officer jim fairfield and also contact Watchdog, the more calls they get the more they will have to look into it, the 20 companies i know of, i have advised them to do this, complain to trading standards, the police, basically betterfares are in breach of there contract between us and them, they are full of shit, there could be an address for the guy who owns betterfares or cybernetmedia ltd his name is Chris Mortimer, if i get an address then i will post it here and you can give it out, get the bailiffs in to collect, ill pay £500 to get someone to knock on his door and demand the money there and then, CANT FUCKIN WAIT
