Hi,

I know this is a bit of a broad question....

But, can anyone explain how the taxi tariffs work in  france or germany?

Are they controlled by authorities?
Do the tariffs work anything like the UK?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've only been to germany and they had meters in the PH vehicles. Looked pretty well lisenced up to me so prob local authority at a guess.
