Two passengers charged with assaulting a taxi driver have been sent for trial.
Unemployed Craig Andrew Fairman, 24 of Riverside Road, Sidcup and plasterer Stephen Sears, 29 of Longmead Drive Sidcup appeared in Bexley Magistrates Court on Monday (10/03/08) charged with assault of Mohammed Shah, 43.
Mr Shah was found in his Toyota Avensis minicab on Riverside Road Sidcup on Monday March 3rd at 11.55pm. Mr Shah is in hospital in a critical condition.
The accused have been sent for trial at Woolwich Crown Court next Monday.
This report was in our local paper the Kentish Times and I have only just read it. Unfortunately can't get down to the court because representing a driver on a grievance this morning but will try and chase up local papers later |
