Hi,
I am 19 years old and have only found one company that will insure me! It isnt cheap, but it isnt too bad either (i know some older guys paying more!)
Anyway, does anyone know any other companies that will provide me with public hire insurance. Just shopping around at the minute!

im sure someone will say if im wrong ...??

Found a company that states "ANY AGE, ANY VEHICLE, ANY EXPERIENCE" in their ad, lets just see if they come up with a decent price!

Hi Lawrence,
I will give you a call tommorow! I have got a quote of £1800 going on my dads taxi insurance, however i would really like my own policy. There are some companies around here offering a basic price of £80 a week for insurance as they put you on their block insurance, however you have to be 20 or above.
I will call you tommorow to see what you can come up with.

Sam i am surprised you will get licenced, in London you have to be 21!!!!!!!!!! what is your LA??

I'm with Derwentside, on a Derwentside hack.
The requirement when i applied was to have held a driving licence for one year, simple as. However, Gateshead had this rule too, until recently they changed it to 21!
As far as i am aware, Derwentside have recently revised their requirements for new applicants, which now involves a locality test, in attemp to cut "cross border taxis" (Derwentside hacks working as PH in Gateshead and Newcastle) |

I have rang twice now, both times have left my phone number and still have not heard back.
The line also seems to be poor, as they can never hear what your saying.
