Here we go again!! Students are back and yes the usual drunkeness and abuse for yet another 3 months until Xmas and then followed by the usual during the "festive season" and then followed by yet another three months until Easter break ( a months reprisal) and yes followed by Spring term and then Thank Christ! (that's if he really exists!?) peace from end of June right up until October when it starts all over again!!!!! Rather do Squaddies anytime..... At least they get locked up and you gets yer money if you are deft enough to take them to the nearest guardroom where the duty nco takes "care of 'em" Little Darlings!!..............
Students... well I bloody 'ate em (but sometimes you get some decent ones that come from good families? Actually they are the ones that come from poor backgrounds and have to get a job to make up their keep so can't afford to get drunk and get a taxi back to campus..... The ones from "priviledged" backgrounds are the ones who say "I'm only a poor student" when the excuse is when they don't want to pay upfront!! or give you a decent tip for a crap fare around the corner!!
Winchester has a large student population comprising the Uni of Winchester, the Art College and Sparsholt Agricultural College probably around 12000 students ...... and boy wasn't it just so peaceful while they were away!!
Imagine that when they are out all at once pewking up in the streets and in our cabs when they promise they won't and you against better judgement decide to take them 'cause they've paid upfront (we make 'em do it just in case) but it doesn't make it any easier when you demand the soiling charge and they tell you to flower off!! as well as calling you every obscenity under the sun!!
This is followed by you having to turf them out and telling them that shanks pony is the only way they are getting home tonight!! Why do we do it? 'Cause we need the money just like everyone else who has to work for a crust!!
Last night was the final straw when one little shite hurled a traffic cone on my head as I was getting back in the cab after closing the doors which they left open (which was a good thing as they usually slam them to try and do damage anyway!!)
Why do we have to put up with this sort of behaviour time after time after time!! No good calling plod they are too busy elsewhere!!
I say bring back the birch and the bloody rope..... things have gone too far and what does Government do? Sweet F. A.
Ok, I only suffered slight bruising but cctv does not protect you from somebody who wants to cause you grief, just because they can't take flower all responsibility for themselves..... Its true you know.... Ya born... Life's a bitch.... and.... then ya die!!
Who would want to be a cabbie?????
