Police are hunting two robbers who threatened to stab a cab driver if he did not hand over his takings, and took his car.
The men booked a cab from Metro Private Hire in Church Street, Keighley, at about 1.10am yesterday.
They asked the driver to take them to Gilstead and as he drove along Crossley Wood Road they asked him to pull over and threatened to stab him.
The driver handed over around £80 to £90 before they told him to get out of the black Vauxhall Vectra, which they then drove off in.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information to the incident or on the whereabouts of the car, registration number FL04 YBD.
Detective Inspector Peter Craig, of North Bradford and Airedale CID, said one suspect was described as black, chubby, no older than 25, and wearing a red top.
The second suspect was white, thin, 23, and wearing a cream hooded top.
Det Insp Craig said: “We are appealing for anyone who is aware of anyone who fits these descriptions in Keighley at that time, or making their way to Gilstead.”
Anyone with information should contact North Bradford and Airedale CID on 0845 6060606.
