Good evening TaxiForums and I thank you in advance for your help.
I am researching the viability of becoming a private hire taxi owner-driver and I would like to ask your advice on the costings involved as well as seeking your advice.
So, I have two questions:
1 - What are the FIXED costs (WITHOUT fuel, maintenance, etc) to run an "owner-taxi"? (if you can give me an idea of taxi insurance I would appreciate it)
2 - If you were to become a taxi driver again / tomorrow, what would you do differently?
