i was on holiday up near whitby and got talking to a stockton driver who was there for the day with his family, and we got talking about is it legal for a stockton private hire to go into a nearby city pick up a booking in the city and drop the fare the fare in the same city i said only if the booking came to the private hire office in stockton could they then go and do the job.

i was told that sometimes its on the drivers mobile phones and their out of their own area dropping off etc.

i said that they were getting into cross border hiring was i correct as the more i think about it im not sure and he didnt know either...?
