WARNING TO ALL TAXI DRIVERS LOOKING FOR TAXI INSURANCE
IN THE PRIVATE HIRE MONTHLY MAGAZINE
I have had big problems now with MCE INSURANCE BROKERS who advertise cheap TAXI insurance in the PHM.
Since November 2010 i have now been waiting for a full insurance certificate from these cowboys and have not recieved it yet.
I have sent them all my license details and no claims bonus proof,TWICE now as the first time they wrote to me saying they had not recieved it yet.
I just dont know why they are not sending me a insurance certificate now, as it has been some time and they are leaving me without a cover note every month, when a new month starts and im thinking they are leaving me well in the shit with no cover note to produce to any one.

I am having to ring them up every month, when well in to a new month to tell them, and ask why i have not recieved a full insurance certificate yet and they keep saying the same old cock and bull, that they are waiting for the underwriter to forward it to them.
It is not untill i have been on the blower, complaining that i have not recieved a cover note, and then over the next few days i would get one through the post.
If it was not for me getting on the phone iu am sure i would not even have a cover note to proove i was insured.I am sure they would not send me anything
The one and only thing i have is the money coming out of my bank account on direct debit, paying monthly for the insurance policy i took out with them.
I strongly advise any taxi drivers, if this bunch is in your area promoting there service give them a w i d e birth, stay away from this company, MCE from Rusden Northants,they have even been on BBC watchdog last year i found out and loads of people had there cars taken away from them by police for not having insurance cover by themm when they had supposed to have taken it out with MCE.
In all my 20 years of taxi driving,these are the worst people to deal with when it comes down to getting taxi insurance.

Still no insurance certificate for march
I can only assume im covered as my money is being taken stilll
Fuck these bunch of wankers if i lose my job for not having a valid insurance certificate they should be taken off the register or their
license be revoked for acting like this.
Dont do business with these twats, they just want your money
If you end up having an accident or your car gets nicked chances are you wont get a penny if this insurance service is like this.

Finnaly recieved a full insurance certificate about the 4 th March waited a long time for it to come since my renewal in November 10.
I think i will switch back to my old company when it runs out
