OK...I am sick to the the back teeth of members thinking I use an alias name !!!!
So I would like to take this opportunity to allow members to reveal themselves to us all.
Go on...if you have any balls you will....you big girls.
I hope that this is common ground and we are using this as a neutral post to simply reveal who we are and NOT to be using the revelations as ammunition to liable cases because of what has been said / posted..... ( Let me sum it up...Its shit...And sticks and stones )

For my part Taxis I only have the one user name and it is the same one I use on two other taxi forums I subscribe to.
Not sure what the policy is on multiple user names on this forum but it is frowned upon on many other sites and if anyone is found to be using more than one name they have their account(s) deleted.

Me... Me... I have 2 aliases...! 1 is Pete... my name being Peter (clue is in the title)... the other is Portal Admin... reason for this is a difference in my admin rights... I only generally log in as Admin if I have to remove someones post or make fundamental changes to the core... I have been known to post under the latter though. No deception intended... just forget to switch my user back. Plus I can do what the flower I like... (mild moderator ego trip )
Also, I wouldn't worry about it too much... I can see who's who and generally speaking there are no genuine visitors with split personalities... There have been occassions where a user has created a new account because they couldn't remember their username and I wasn't about to find it... but certainly no-one switching between users to pat themselves on the back.
Hope we can put this debate to bed at some point soon... It seems to crop up far to often to be interesting anymore

I can never get away with using an alias ........................... the good sense and honesty always shine through.
I don't see the problem really ...................... if someone s an ar$e and talks $hit then everyone knows they are an ar$e who talks $shit.
The problem comes when people are criticised for trying to do something positive JUST because they choose not to join a group be that a Union or an Association.
Decisions are made by those that turn up ............................ well actually decisions are made by the majority of the people that turn up, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY CALL THEMSELVES, when it comes to forums websites, because the prolific posters band together and swamp anyone who dares to disagree ......................... it happens on TDO and it happens on here.
Maybe there is a need for real change ......................... and maybe thats exactly what this trade needs.

I may well be a Tw@t .................... I may well be a Coont .................... but at least I don't portray myself as a victim when the big boys come out to play.
I would very much appriciate your own experiences of me which have lead you to form the opinion that I'm either of the things you suggest, and possibly explain how asking someone to keep up could possibly be taken as "talking down" to anyone.
You asked what my username was on TDO .................... when you knew for a fact what it is .................. even my real name has been used on here (by uncourteous scruffy cockney's who need to escape the smog of the smoke and learn to drink real mans beer in fresh and clean air) as well as on TDO.
If you were not aware of this then my post was intended to highlight the fact that my identity has been kept a secret either on this site or indeed any other I have contributed to.
If you like we can continue along the line you have chosen ...................
